Confederation Park Public Artwork Exhibit

Come see our story of Confederation captured in colourful artwork created by students in Regina as part of the Confederation Park renewal project. The students’ artwork will be on display for public viewing at the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre until mid-July.

Over the last few months, students from eight high schools in Regina worked closely with local artists Bruno Hernani and Jori Cachene to create art that will be on permanent display on panels in Confederation Park when the park officially opens this summer. A tapestry of bright colours and symbols arranged thematically invite you to explore themes related to our rich and complex story of Confederation.  You can get a sneak peek of their artwork before it is unveiled at the park’s official opening ceremony on June 30, 2017.

Let’s support our youth and local artists by admiring their work.
