Making a splash in Regina – Indoor Waterparks
Looking for a place to escape the cooler Regina weather? Maybe a fun place to cool off in the summer? Regina has several fun indoor waterparks to choose from!
Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre
With a small frog slide, a warm tot pool, umbrella rain tree and more, this is a pool that all ages will enjoy. My son (5 years old) loves this pool because there are several shallow areas where he can still walk around. The tot pool is a great place for the younger kids because they have a couple of small fountains for the kids to play in plus the toddler-sized slide. If you’re planning a party for kids, check out their party room for special events.
Home Inn Regina
This pool & waterslide is designed for the older kids with a fast waterslide and a deeper pool (no toddler area). Since this pool doesn’t have a shallow area, I’d recommend that the kids are a little older for playing on the waterslide. For a unique overnight experience, check out The Science Room! With a glowing moon bedroom, a telescope, a gaming system and more, it’s a great place for a family visit or a birthday party – contact the hotel for booking information.
Soaked! Waterpark
With two waterslides, a spray pad, swimming pool, toddler area and more, your kids could spend hours playing here! This waterpark is exclusive to hotel guests. They do accept requests for pool parties on certain days of the week. You can book a room beside the pool for your pizza and cake while your party guests play in the pool area.
Northwest Leisure Centre
With a large wadding area for kids, this is a great pool for the younger kids. There are a lot of swimming lessons and classes held here so you’ll want to check their online schedule for family swim times. We’ve been going to this pool for years for my son’s swimming lessons and they have it sectioned nicely between the shallow play area and the deeper area for the older kids.
