Annual Rock & Gem Show by the Prairie Rock & Gem Society

This event is for anyone who loves rocks and wants to learn more about them!  The Prairie Rock & Gem Society is non-profit organization dedicated to the hobby of rocks and lapidary work. We share our passion for stones with an annual show where you can buy rocks (polished and raw), crystals, minerals, fossils, beads & gemstones and jewellery. There are supplies for jewellery makers, lapidary workers and flint knappers. Watch demonstrations of rock cutting and polishing on our lapidary equipment! Learn how to cut and polish your own stones! Visit the displays of polished rocks made by members!  There are also activities for kids – hunt for rock treasures and take home a bag of special stones!
