We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather is Treaty 4 territory and the traditional territory of the Anihšinābēk, Nêhiyawak, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakota peoples, and the original home of the Métis/Michif Nation. We recognize that both Indigenous and Métis people are the spiritual and cultural keepers of their traditional lands and still to this day, continue to practice their values, languages, beliefs and knowledge.
Bazaart is Saskatchewan’s largest outdoor art and craft show & sale, showcasing handmade creations by Canadian artists and artisans who excel in their chosen medium. Organized by the MacKenzie Art Gallery, Bazaart is one of the MacKenzie Art Gallery’s biggest annual fundraisers and community building events. Each year, this fundraising event helps support MacKenzie’s renowned exhibitions and public programs, while offering local artisans the opportunity to market their businesses and sell their works. After two years on hiatus, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the MacKenzie Art Gallery is excited to present our 47th annual Bazaart on Saturday, 18 June 2022!
From 10 AM – 5 PM, shop locally for one-of-a-kind creations from a multitude of artisans. Enjoy delicious food prepared by locally-owned businesses, art activities in the BMO Learning Centre, and access to the Gallery—including the MacKenzie Shop, Craft Services Café by Crave, and all current exhibitions! Guests are also welcomed to enjoy live music, courtesy of Regina Folk Fest from 11:45 AM – 3:15 PM in the designated area indicated on the Bazaart 2022 map, which can be found here.
