Chefs’ Challenge
Three local chefs will participate in a “mystery box” cooking challenge with the goal of winning over the hearts, minds and stomachs of our judges. The challenge involves the competitors being handed a box of ingredients and given a limited time frame to use all ingredients provided to prepare an amazing dish. Additionally, Regina Farmers’ Market vendors will supply proteins and produce. Chefs will also be provided with a simple pantry of canola oil, cream, butter, red wine vinegar and nine spices. Chefs are provided with a barbecue but are encouraged to bring their own pots, pans, knives, cutting boards, bowls, etc.
