Creating Active Champions at the Sask Sports Hall of Fame
The Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame is happy to announce that our Creating Active Champions summer program will be returning again starting on July 4.
This program will offer more diverse options for parents looking for ways for their kids to have fun and stay active.
Creating Active Champions will be offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in 90-minute sessions at 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. A donation of $2 per child is requested and adult chaperones must be present.
The program will be offered twice daily on Wednesdays. These three-hour sessions will start at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. with a focus on learning about STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Math) in sport with each week also having a themed sport. A donation of $10 per child is requested. There is a maximum of 12 participants in each session.
On Fridays, the program will come to your centre. For a $25 donation, the program will be run at your daycare centre or facility for more than two hours starting at either 9:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. These spots are filling quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment.
The seven-week program will wrap up on August 18.
