Lieutenant Governor’s Celebration of the Coronation of King Charles III
Celebrating the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III
Hosted by Lieutenant Governor Russ Mirasty & Her Honour Donna Mirasty
Saturday, May 13th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Government House at 4607 Dewdney Avenue in Regina
Free of charge and no registration is necessary.
A short program will begin at 1:30 p.m. in Sir Richard Lake Hall with greetings from the Lt. Governor followed by a special musical performance by Jeffery Straker. Jeffery will debut a song composed especially for the coronation. The program will also include presentations to, and anecdotes by, individuals with ties to King Charles III and the Royal Family.
Throughout Government House guests will enjoy entertainment, refreshments, children’s crafts and exhibits. New displays focused on the Crown and the Coronation will be open for viewing. There will also be giveaways of coronation collectors’ pins, chokecherry seedlings from Shand Greenhouses and more!
