Help us celebrate National Ocean Week at the Saskatchewan Science Centre!
Ocean Week Canada is an annual national celebration of ocean events, learning, and engagement held during the week of World Ocean Day (June 8). Events bring together individuals, organizations, communities, government agencies, artists, and more to raise awareness about the importance of connecting to and protecting the ocean. Some of the activities that take place around the nation during Ocean Week Canada include beach cleanups, educational workshops, public lectures, film screenings, interactive art exhibits, learn to paddle or surf, and more
To add to the Ocean Week activities from around the country, the Saskatchewan Science Centre is hosting an Ocean Map!
The Ocean Map will be available from Friday, June 2 to Sunday, June 11 from 10 am to 3pm on weekdays and from 12:30 to 4:30 pm on weekends. It will either be located in the SaskPower Lobby or directly outside in the park (weather depending) and available for free – no General Admission required!
