Picnic and Paddle in Wascana
Wascana Centre is proud to partner with Wascana Canoe and Kayak Club, and Skye Café & Bistro to offer Picnic and Paddle. Participants have the choice of paddling from the Marina to Willow Island in a single kayak, double kayak or canoe (fits up to 4).
Cost is $60 and includes boat rental and meal for 2. Extra meals can be added on.
If child is under the age of 16, a parent or guardian must be present. Program not recommended for children under the age of 1.

Lunch includes choice of sandwich, in-house made potato chips, beverage and fruit). Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options all available.
Timeline:
11:30 – 11 :45 – Sign-in (sign waiver, get life jackets and boat assigned to you)
11:45 – Safety instruction
12:00 – Get on water and paddle to Willow Island
12:15 – 12:45 – Picnic on Willow Island
12:45 – Paddle back to marina

If event must be cancelled due to weather, full refund will be issued, and participants will be notified as soon as possible (day before if possible).
