Alexis fera son retour sur la scène francophone en 2023 avec un projet empreint de chaleur et de vulnérabilité. La Fransaskoise propose un spectacle porté par des airs de guitare élégants, des textes finement ciselés et des interprétations nuancées, et qui fouillera ses doutes identitaires et ses insécurités linguistiques. La prestation musicale sera suivie d’une projection du premier court métrage documentaire de l’auteure-compositrice-interprète et cinéaste, Assez French, une production de l’Office national du film dont elle signe le scénario et la réalisation. Par sa grande ouverture, l’artiste fransaskoise met en lumière les défis auxquels font face de nombreux francophones en situation minoritaire dans les Prairies canadiennes. Lors d’une période de questions qui suivra l’entracte, Alexis s’entretiendra avec le public à l’occasion de riches échanges qui permettront de mieux faire connaître la diversité et la pluralité des identités francophones. Les prix sont les suivants : 25$ (non-membre), 15$ (membre) et 10$ étudiant. À la porte les prix seront 30$ (non-membre), 20$ (membre) et 15$ (étudiant).

Alexis will return to the French-speaking scene in 2023 with a project imbued with warmth and vulnerability. She offers a show carried by elegant guitar tunes, finely chiseled texts and nuanced interpretations, and which will delve into her identity doubts and linguistic insecurities. The musical performance will be followed by a screening of the first short documentary by the singer-songwriter and filmmaker, Assez French, a National Film Board production for which she wrote the screenplay and directed. Through her great openness, the Fransaskois artist highlights the challenges faced by many Francophones in minority situations in the Canadian Prairies. During a question period that will follow the intermission, Alexis will talk to the public to help explain the diversity and plurality of Francophone identities. The tickets cost the following amounts: $25 (non-member), $15 (member) and $10 student. At the door the prices will be $30 (non-member), $20 (member) and $15 (student).
