We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather is Treaty 4 territory and the traditional territory of the Anihšinābēk, Nêhiyawak, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakota peoples, and the original home of the Métis/Michif Nation. We recognize that both Indigenous and Métis people are the spiritual and cultural keepers of their traditional lands and still to this day, continue to practice their values, languages, beliefs and knowledge.
Sunrise Fall Fair
Join us as we celebrate the fall season with music, stories, and other activities for the whole family to enjoy!
We will have Tekeyla Friday put on the following puppet shows: Magic Pemmican Rock, Run Away Bannock and Thomas and the Chicken Problem. Enjoy Metis Fiddle Tunes and a performance from Hummingbird Crossing.
We will have lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy as we celebrate the fall season along with Arcola East Community Association. Face painting, photo booth, door prizes, and children’s activities are planned for the day. Refreshments will be served.
