The Ladybug Picnic Festival
Join us at Over the Hill Orchards and Winery for a day of fun, food, and festivities! The Ladybug Picnic Festival is a celebration of summer and community, all for a great cause—with proceeds from the festival going to the Mother Baby Unit in Regina, a heartfelt tribute to Sally Elliott.
Join us, August 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the first ever Ladybug Picnic Festival at Over the Hill Orchards and Winery, with proceeds of this event will be donated to the Regina Mother Baby Unit in honour of Sally Elliott.
There are THREE ways you will be able to join in on the family-friendly festival, take in one, or a all of the experiences that we have to offer (though that would make for a VERY full day of activities!)
- Book a Picnic: Formatted like our regular picnic offering, this one-hour time slot gives you the opportunity to enjoy a picnic with friends and family, and enjoy the vendors and festivities the space has to offer. Reserve your perfect picnic spot in advance, and we will have wine, a charcuterie board, and ladybug activities ready for you to soak in the Qu’Appelle Valley views.
- Paint & Wine Sampler: Unleash your inner artist in the picturesque gazebo while enjoying a wine sampler of in-house wine. Enjoy an intimate and fun painting session with Brianne from Regina’s local art business, Arthouse. She’ll guide you through a painting step-by-step for approximately 2-2.5hours. Absolutely no painting experience is required – You’re there to have fun, get in touch with your creative side and support a great cause. **Note: This is not a walk up experience and requires a reservation
- Sip & Shop: Relax and savor the joys of summer on our patio and browse local artisans and vendor market. There will be activities and festivities around the patio to really celebrate the community coming together.
The festival will host a variety of local vendors, bookable picnic and wine sampling experiences.
