Join Rider Nation as the Saskatchewan Roughriders take on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers!
Winnipeg started off the season very hot going 5-0 but have started to plateau as of lately while the Riders continue to get hotter under first time starting QB Cody Fajardo. The Riders special teams have been impressive this year with multiple kickoff touchdowns yet have given up a decent amount as well. Young reciever Shaq Evans continues to impress as he sits among the league leaders in recieving yards, slowly becoming one of the premiere targets in the CFL. The Riders defence has been no surprise this season as they hold their opponents to respectable amounts of points given up per game. As for Winnipeg, Andrew Harris continues to show he is the best, if not top 3, running back in the league with multiple hundred yard rushing games combined with lots of receptions and touchdowns. With the loss of Matt Nichols to a throwing arm injury, second year backup Chris Streveler looks to keep the Blue Bombers playoff hopes alive but faces lots of adversity against a hot Rider team.
