If you can’t get to Mosaic Stadium to watch the Riders play, there are plenty of pubs around the city where you can watch the game with other enthusiastic fans.
While visiting pubs for this story, I found that though a lot of pubs show the games on TV, only a few have the volume turned up loud enough to actually hear the game!
Here are my top three picks for the best pubs where you can watch and actually hear the games.
Press Box Sports Bar: With lots of big screen TVs, delicious food and drinks, this is a great location for watching the Riders. If you’re heading to the game, take advantage of their Rider Home Game Special that includes a ticket to the game, burger, beer and a ride to and from the game. The Press Box is located on north Albert Street with lots of parking areas.
The CPR Lounge: Located inside Casino Regina, there are an abundance of seats and TVs for watching the games. It’s located right inside the casino, so be sure to try your luck in the casino before or after the game. Casino Regina is located in downtown Regina.
4Seasons: 4Seasons has at least 17 big screens to watch the game on plus lots of seating areas perfect for large groups. It also has a cold beer, wine and spirits store attached. 4Seasons is located in the east on Arcola Avenue with lots of parking areas.
Brewsters: Although we couldn’t hear the game when we visited Brewsters on south Albert, they certainly get my vote for the BEST nachos! Trust me, I eat a lot of nachos and these ones cannot be beat! So if you’re more focused on visiting, eating and watching the game in the background, Brewsters is a great place to go.
