I’ve always thought fall has undoubtedly been known as the star colour season.

I mean, it’s kind of hard to beat the incredible smorgasbord produced by the turning of leaves, magnificent early evening sunsets and colours of harvest. However, perhaps personal biased has had me playing favourites.

After taking a peek back at the images taken over the past few months by local Instagrammers, I discovered that maybe just maybe, summer is the new fall.

So, here it is.

Regina’s summer colours go way beyond green and white, though many would argue those are their favourites. From pinky-red sunset hues to moody skies and storm clouds, Wascana Park’s rainbow storyboard and vibrant city urban street views; summer in the city is chock full of colour!

Don’t just take my word for it.

Instead, take a peek below at this handful of images, which were featured on Tourism Regina’s Instagram feed. They capture the evidence that summer may be giving fall a run for its money.
