Welcome to 2019 Baseball Canada Cup Championships

Taking place at Optimist Park and Currie Field from August 7-11, this premium championship event will showcase the Nation’s best in baseball, aged 17 and under. The Baseball Canada Cup serves several purposes: to scout and select players for the National Junior team, to evaluate coaches and identify potential Junior and Senior team coaches, and to evaluate umpires. College, amateur and professional scouts will have the opportunity to evaluate the next generation of elite Canadian baseball talent. 

 

About Optimist Park & Currie Field

Currie Field and Optimist Park are Regina’s premiere baseball facilities and have hosted numerous large-scale tournaments on both the provincial and national stage. Optimist Park will be undergoing significant renovations to prepare for this major event and other tournaments throughout the summer.

Regina Farmers' Market

Enjoy a lovely time outdoors in the City Square Plaza downtown Regina. Check out a variety of vendors including individuals and businesses that make, bake, grow, or design their products right here in Saskatchewan.

Supper in the Orchard Each evening a different local chef will create a multi-course supper using mainly ingredients from local farms and the orchard. The evening includes a guided tour of the orchard by owners Dean and Sylvia. August 9 and August 10 from 6-9 p.m. $70/person
Regina Folk Festival Experience the Regina Folk Festival as they celebrate 50 years of continuing greatness through folk music with lots of great attractions such as beer gardens, children's area, arts market, and an international food court. August 9-11

Rebellion Brewing Co. Brewery Tour Come and see how your favourite beers are made at Rebellion Brewing. Enjoy a sample on-the-house. August 10 from 2-3 p.m. FREE
Government House Victorian Teas Hosted by the Government House Historical Society in the Henry Newlands Ballroom, they offer a unique setting for this time-honoured tradition. For tea dates and to make reservations, please visit the Government House Historical Society.
