Welcome to the FNUniv Annual Spring Celebration Powwow

The First Nations University of Canada Spring Powwow Celebration is one of the largest powwows in Western Canada with close to 10,000 attendees. At this come-and-go celebration you can enjoy colourful dancing, singing, and drumming competitions.There will also be a tradeshow featuring many incredible Indigenous products for purchase. Everyone is welcome! The event is alcohol-free and is targeted at families, community members (both Indigenous and Non-Indigenous) and visitors of all ages.

Saturday, April 20, 2019       12 p.m. - 12 a.m. 

Sunday, April 21, 2019         12 p.m. - 12 a.m.

Both days include: a grand entry at 12 p.m., another grand entry at 7 p.m., and a “retiring of the flags” ceremony at 12 a.m.


Admission Prices:

$10.00 Daily
$15.00 Weekend Pass
*plus $2.00 for Brandt Service Fee
Children 5 and Under are Free

Tickets will be available at the door at Evraz Place.

Casino Regina (1880 Saskatchewan Dr.) The casino itself was once Regina’s Union Train Station – an important stop for travelers, settlers and goods making their way cross-country. Now, it’s all aboard for fun with a wide range of slots, table games, poker, dining and live performances in the Vegas-style Show Lounge.

Baller's Rec Room (2044 Dewdney Ave.) Arcade games, batting cages, full menu and licensed bar... this place is a one stop shop for the whole family! Bring the kids by in the afternoon for some Mario Kart and tasty treats or come by with your crew in the evening to swing in the batting cages over a couple of cold ones and a burger (all ages until 8pm). 

Get Air Trampoline Park (1902 Turvey Rd.) Imagine wall-to-wall trampolines, foam pits, dodgeball courts, long tumbling tracks, and all kinds of fun features to test your skills.

Escape Club Escape Rooms & Boardgame Café (2410 Dewdney Ave.) Choose from seven different themed escape rooms to solve puzzles and decipher clues within 60 minutes. Also check out the fully-licensed boardgame café carrying over 360+ games. 

Rebellion Brewery Tours ( 1901 Dewdney Ave.) Enjoy a guided tour through the brewery, learn the brewing process and be guided through a tasting of multiple Rebellion beers.Tours are free and run on Saturday's at 2 p.m..
