Welcome Queen City Marathon participants and spectators!

The GMS Queen City Marathon has grown from its humble beginnings, in 2001, to become the largest road race in Saskatchewan today. With three days of races and over 6500 participants this has truly become a must-attend event for runners and walkers alike. The GMS Queen City Marathon includes a race for every pace with a marathon, half marathon, 10K, two 5K’s and a kid’s mini marathon spread throughout the second weekend in September.

Race Package Pick-Up 

Race package pick-up will take place at the Conexus Arts Centre, 200A Lakeshore Drive.

  • Friday, September 6, 2018 - 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 7, 2018 - 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

When you arrive at the Conexus Arts Centre, enter through the MAIN DOORS (on the north side of the building). 

RACE KITS WILL NOT BE MAILED OR DELIVERED. All race kits must be picked up by Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

REMINDER: University of Regina Night Owl 5K participants on must pick up their race kits by 7 p.m. Friday at the Conexus Arts Centre, before proceeding to the event start line on the University of Regina campus. Mini Marathon participants must pick up their race kits before their race begins Saturday morning (races begin at 10 a.m.).

Very limited parking - repeat: very limited parking - is available in the east and south lots of the Conexus Arts Centre. If you plan to park at the Conexus Arts Centre on race day SUNDAY, please plan to be on site no later than 6:30 a.m. If those lots are already full, you need to give yourself enough time to find alternate parking.

Additional parking will be available at some of the University of Regina parking lots, which are about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the start line. The University of Regina is directly south of the Conexus Arts Centre, along Wascana Parkway.

NOTE: The start/finish for the University of Regina Night Owl 5K IS NOT at the Conexus Arts Centre.

Instead, the start/finish for that event is located on the University of Regina Campus, between the Paskwaw and Wakpa Towers on the University of Regina campus, just east of the Dr. Lloyd Barber Academic Green (the large elliptical grass area). Please dowload and review the course map HERE and plan your parking accordingly.

Road Closures

A variety of reduced use, restricted, and road closures are in effect on Regina's streets during QCM Weekend.
