Located in the beautiful Wascana Centre, we invite visitors to experience a unique opportunity to explore the Legislative Building’s remarkable architecture and rich historical significance. Visitors will learn about Saskatchewan’s Legislative Assembly and the Westminster parliamentary tradition. Our extensive tour includes the rotunda, chamber, library, and several galleries. Visitors will also have a chance to see our large collection of art from Saskatchewan artists, including works from the Saskatchewan Arts Board.

The MacKenzie Art Gallery is a centre for art and culture, presenting exhibitions and experiences that help us understand each other, the world, and who we want to be. Wascana Centre is internationally known as a beautifully landscaped park, surrounded by a 150-hectre lake, in the heart of the city. Wascana Centre sits on 2,300 acres of urban land and is home to countless attractions, making it a one-of-a-kind stop in Regina. The Centre remains one of the finest outdoor venues in the country to host an outdoor event, with over 400 events hosted annually.
Looking for a relaxing boat tour? The Provincial Capital Commission offers half-hour, guided tours that will take you on a leisurely excursion around Wascana Lake. This true “on the water” experience will provide you with the history of Wascana Lake and its monuments. Tours are wheelchair accessible and life jackets are provided.

Wascana Pool offers a wide range of exciting amenities, designed for visitors of all ages and abilities. The facility includes a 25-meter lane pool, 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards, a climbing wall, and a 25-meter leisure pool. Guests can enjoy the thrill of two waterslides and accessible side-by-side slides, or relax in the lazy river and hot tub.

One of Saskatchewan’s most famous artistic talents was the late Joe Fafard. (1942-2019) Fafard is perhaps best known for his fondness for the hallmarks of small-town Saskatchewan – friendly neighbours, wildlife, and of course, cows. We are incredibly lucky to have these fine examples of Fafard’s work in Wascana Centre!
Pine Island is a spot that offers peaceful views of Wascana Lake, surrounded by beautiful greenery and pine trees. It is a great location for a calm walk or a relaxing picnic.
The Queen Elizabeth II gardens offer a peaceful escape, filled with colourful flowers grown from the greenhouse and calming scenery that invites visitors to soak up nature’s beauty. The gardens are a perfect place to take a nice walk or take a moment to educate yourself.
Candy Cane Park invites people to play and escape with the fun and vibrant play structures within the park. Placed within desirable surroundings of the Lake, the park is a favoured spot for families to enjoy outdoor activities.

Of the attractions of Wascana Centre, there are few which can match the sheer amount of childhood nostalgia as Queenie. Over the years many of Regina’s children have slid to emerge in a puff of sand and a peal of laughter. If only every goose could live up to Queenie’s example!
